You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport, the appropriate visas, and any required travel authorisations or supporting documents for your journey.

You must also comply with the entry, transit, and departure requirements of Tanzania and any other country included in your itinerary.

You are responsible for assessing your fitness for the activities you book and obtaining appropriate medical advice before travel when necessary.

Wildlife safaris take place in natural environments where animals move freely and conditions can change without warning.

Although our team will make reasonable efforts to provide rewarding wildlife experiences, we cannot guarantee sightings of specific animals, including the Big Five, particular predators, or migration events.

Animal movements, seasonal rainfall, road conditions, vegetation, and conservation restrictions may affect the itinerary.

For safety and conservation reasons, guides may change a route, viewing location, activity, or schedule where reasonably necessary.

You agree to follow wildlife viewing instructions, remain in designated areas where required, and avoid actions that disturb animals or endanger yourself, other visitors, or the environment.

13. Accommodation, Transport, and Third-Party Providers

Accommodation, flights, transfers, activities, and other services may be provided by independent third parties.

We will make reasonable efforts to arrange the services described in your confirmed itinerary. However, specific room allocations, aircraft schedules, vehicle arrangements, facilities, and service conditions may be subject to supplier availability and operational requirements.

Where a confirmed service becomes unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable alternative, taking account of the circumstances and the booking agreement.

We will communicate material changes to you as soon as reasonably practicable.

14. Traveller Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information and relevant travel requirements.

  • Make payments by the agreed deadlines.

  • Treat guides, drivers, staff, local communities, wildlife, and fellow travellers respectfully.

  • Avoid conduct that threatens safety, damages property, or seriously disrupts the trip.

  • Take reasonable care of your personal belongings and travel documents.

If a traveller engages in serious misconduct or creates a significant safety risk, we may take reasonable and proportionate steps, including refusing participation in a particular activity where necessary for safety or legal compliance.

Any resulting costs, refunds, or consequences will be assessed under the applicable booking conditions and law.

You are responsible for safeguarding your passport, money, electronic devices, luggage, and other personal possessions throughout your journey.

Any lost property found by our team will be handled reasonably, although return arrangements and associated delivery costs may depend on the circumstances.

16. Liability

Mashina Safaris will provide its agreed services with reasonable care and in accordance with the applicable booking agreement.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by independent service providers where the law does not otherwise make us responsible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence, breach of contract, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where we are legally responsible for a loss, any assessment of liability will take account of the circumstances, the booking agreement, and applicable law.

You should raise any concern about a service as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, resolve it.

17. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with any part of your trip, please inform your guide, trip coordinator, or Mashina Safaris representative as soon as reasonably practicable.

Where possible, we will attempt to resolve the matter during your trip.

If the matter remains unresolved, please submit a written complaint with your booking reference, a description of the issue, and any relevant supporting information.

We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable period, taking account of its nature and complexity.

23. Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices, website functionality, or legal obligations.

The revised version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, the booking conditions accepted at the time of confirmation will govern an existing booking. Changes to an existing booking will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

24. Severability
